  1. I am new to the website. How do I register? back
    To join us you will need to create an account. Once you have registered, we will need to verify your Email address so please make sure to use a valid Email address. We will send you a welcome Email with a verification code. You can simply click the link in the email or use the code with the verification form at the logon page to complete registration. Once your account is verified, you can instantly start submitting ads, creating Email alerts and more. Every time you logon to your account, your username (nick name) is displayed at the top navigation bar next to other available account management tools.

    Please make sure you have entered a correct and valid Email address. Logon to the site with the Email address and password which you registered and click "register/update". If your Email Address is incorrect, then make necessary changes and click "Update Account". The verification code will be resent to the new address you specified. Please note: The verification code is resent only if you changed an Email Address. If you specified the correct address but for some reason the Email did not reach you, simply logon and click "resend verif. code" link on verification form.

    If you forgot your password, we will send you a temporary replacement password. Click "I forgot my password" at the logon page; enter the email which you registered at our site and click "Email My Password". Check your Email account for the temporary password we sent you. Once you have logged on to your account with a new password, make sure to change it by clicking "My Account" link at the top navigation bar.
  4. Can I change my Email address, password or name? back
    You may change your profile information at any time by clicking "My Account". However if you change your Email address, we will need to verify it. The procedure is the same as when you first registered.
  5. Are there any guidelines for posting ads? back
    Please visit our Site Rules page which provides general guidelines for placing ads on our site.
  6. How do I post an ad? back
    To start posting ads, logon to your account and click "Post Ads" at the top navigation bar. (i) Select an appropriate category and subcategory for your ad. (ii) Select options for ad duration and 'What's Hot' featured list. (iii) Add up to five images/logo to your ad. (iv) Complete the ad details including any optional information. (v) Preview and submit your ad. We will send you an Email notification to confirm that we have received your ad.

    Whilst there are some charges for certain ads we offer free ads on many ad categories. Please check our Rates page regularly for the latest offers including details of all free ad offers.
  8. How do I pay for ads? back
    All payments for posting ads, renewing ads and upgrading ads must be made through our site using Uneeds credits. Uneeds credits are our currency for posting ads. Each Uneeds credit is equal to £1 (GBP).
  9. How do I purchase Uneeds credits? back
    You can purchase Uneeds credits at any time and use them whenever you choose to post new ads, renew expired ads or upgrade ads. To buy credits logon to your account and click "Buy Credits" at the top navigation bar. Uneeds credits can be purchased safely and securely through PayPal, You do not need to have a PayPal account to buy credits as payments can also be made using credit and debit cards. The credits you purchase will automatically be added to your account. The most current credit level available to you is always displayed in the top navigation bar once you have logged in. If you do not see a credit level change after your purchase, please log off and back on.
  10. How do I use Uneeds Credits? back
    To place an ad you will need to have sufficient number of credits on your account to cover the cost for the ad and any additional options you selected during your ad submission process. While on the ad submission page, your credit level is compared to the final ad price. If you do not have enough credits to post your ad, please use PayPal link on the ad submission page to buy credits.
  11. I do not see the appropriate subcategory to post my ad under. back
    If you cannot find the appropriate subcategory to post your ad under, please use Others subcategory. Alternatively let us know and we would consider creating a new subcategory if it does not contradict with our policies.
  12. I have posted my ad, but I do not see it listed. back
    All ads submitted to us will need to be checked for approval by our team before posting on to the site. Once your ad has been approved and posted, you will receive an additional Email notification. If there is a problem with your ad which we think could be put right, we will contact you with suggestions. In the event of any ad not being approved, it will be deleted from our site automatically. No Email notification is sent out for disapproved ads. Please visit our Site Rules page which provides general guidelines for posting ads on our site.
  13. Can I have a refund if my ad is not approved? back
    Where ads you have paid for are not approved by us, the credits will be re-allocated to your Uneeds account. A full refund will be available within 14 days from the date of removal of the ad.
  14. I have posted my ad under the wrong category by mistake. Can I change category? back
    Ads can be moved to different categories by the site administrator only. Please let us know the details if you would like us to move your ad.
  15. I have posted my ad; can I upgrade my ad to "What's Hot" list? back
    You can upgrade your posted ad to be included in the "What's Hot" featured list at any time. Logon to your account, click "My Ads", find your ad and click "Add to Hot List". You will be presented with details of any cost associated with the ad upgrade. If you have enough credits on your account to cover the cost, the ad will be included on "What's Hot" list straight away. If you do not have sufficient credits please use the PayPal form to purchase Uneeds credits.
  16. I have attached a wrong picture to my ad. Can I change it? back
    Yes, you can change the images of the ads at any time. If you have not submitted the ad yet, then on the final ad submission form click "Remove" below the picture thumbnail and then click "Add Images". If you have submitted the ad, you can still change the images. Open your ad in full view and within the "Status" area at the bottom click "Images" link. You will be directed to the image replacement/addition page.
  17. Can I extend the duration of my ad before expiration or change my ad content? back
    Duration of an ad cannot be changed once posted except by the site administrator. Please let us know if you would like to extend the duration of your ad. You can however change the content of the ad at any time by clicking "Edit" link at the status bar within the ad full view page or by clicking "Edit" next to the selected ad at "My Ads" page. Both links would be available when you logged on to your account.
  18. How do I manage my ads? back
    You can manage your ads 24/7. Logon to your account, click "My Ads" link and open your ad in full view. You may always determine the status of your ad by looking at "Status" bar at the bottom of the page. Appropriate links to edit, delete, disable, or change images of your ad are located next to the status indicator.
  19. Can I remove my ad completely? back
    Yes, you can delete your ad using "Delete" link while viewing your ad in full format or from the list of your ads while you click "My Ads" link. Note: you must be logged on to your account before deleting your ads. You may also temporary stop your ad by clicking "Disable" link at full ad view page. The ad will be removed from the list, but remain in the database. You can start disabled ads by clicking "Enable" in the full ad view page.
  20. My ad has expired and taken offline. How can I resubmit it? back
    You may resubmit your ad after it has expired. Logon to your account, click "My Ads", find your expired ad in the list and click "Repost". You will be presented with the ad submission page to select duration and other options. If there is no charge for the ad or you have enough credits at your account, the ad will go online right away. If the options you select are subject to charges and you do not have sufficient amount of credits on your account, use the PayPal link to buy enough Uneeds credits for the ad submission.
  21. What are my options for receiving replies? back
    Your Email address which you provided as part of registration with Uneeds will NOT be displayed within the body of your ads. If someone wishes to contact you regarding your ad they will be directed to the online contact form. However, you may, if you wish, choose to provide your contact information (telephone, Email, website address) as part of your ad in order to have the option of receiving enquires direct.
  22. I wonder if my Email will be added to different lists and used inappropriately for spam. back
    Your Email address will NOT be sold or passed to any lists. If you choose to participate in our newsletter list, you may occasionally receive Emails concerning changes in our policies, upgrades or information on the latest news and offers.
  23. I would like to submit a banner to display on your site. What should I do? back
